Tawny September!
It’s hard to believe that we have almost galloped through the summer’s balmy rays,
With one minute being boiling hot and the next scrabbling for a jumper for the cooler days!
The Great British weather is a juxtaposition of sunshine and showers and always the subject
Of a steadfast topic of conversation, and a theme of which we can all really connect!
September is the time to finish the year’s harvest and celebrate its bounty and to prepare
For the cooler, fresh mornings, a sentimental feeling of change and a slight nip in the air!
The Mop Fair takes place once again, along with a tribute act to the one and only King
Of Rock and Roll, The Elvis Legacy, a top selling international show with some extra bling!
Also at the Town Hall the Sodbury Players are performing Wyrd Sisters, a satirical slew
On Macbeth featuring a murdered king and three chaotic, unconventional witches in a stew!
The Comedy Club also returns with an hilarious evening to put us in the mood with a lift,
As we switch to the warm hue of early autumn and get ready for the ‘Summer to Fall’ shift.
